ETGUI awards
ETGUI provides three prestigious awards,
i) Fellow of ETGUI,
ii) Researcher of the year and
iii) scholarships to graduate students.
The ETGUI fellow award is a career award given to ETGUI members who have shown excellent scholastic and leadership roles in advancing the geosciences to solve societal and environmental challenges of Ethiopia and the wider geophysical community. Please refer to our detailed guidelines in nominating an outstanding fellow candidate.
ETGUI researcher - is an award presented to a researcher who has shown excellence in the geophysical research activities throughout the preceding year. Please refer to our research activities guideline in nominating ETGUI annual researcher.
ETGUI scholarship - is presented to student members of ETGUI who are planning to attend a geoscientific research conference and present their outstanding work. Please refer to our scholarship guideline to apply for our ETGUI scholarship awards.
