Ethiopian Geophysical Union International

ETGUI is a non-profit organization that bring Ethiopian geophysical researchers across the world with a mission to : serve as a galvanizing organizational platform to advance research and education in geosciences, atmospheric and space sciences, and promote the achievements of geosciences, atmospheric and space sciences for the benefits of the people of Ethiopia and the whole of humanity.

ETGUI members meet annually at the sides of the American Geophysical Union (AGU) conference that is often held by the end of December in San Francisco, California. During this meeting, ETGUI members present their research, set goals for the next year and network. In addition, members often meet through teleconference throughout the year to discuss the status of ongoing projects and further strengthening networking.
